Chris Appleton files for divorce from Lukas Gage - Entertainment Weekly News

Sometimes love is as brief as a stay at The White Lotus, as season 1 star Lukas Gage has found out. After almost seven months of marriage, his husband, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, has filed for divorce.

The couple first sparked romance rumors back in February and privately tied the knot in Vegas two months later in April, with Appleton's client Kim Kardashian officiating.

According to divorce documents filed on Monday in Los Angeles and obtained by PEOPLE, Appleton cited "irreconcilable differences" with the date of separation as Nov. 10. The documents also show the presence of a postnuptial agreement.

Appleton first publicly announced his and Gage's romance on The Drew Barrymore Show in March, saying, "I'm very happy. Very much in love, and I feel very grateful to be able to share my time with someone very special."

Gage and Appleton's Vegas wedding was a plot point recently on The Kardashians, with last week's episode capturing the moment Appleton asked the American Horror Story: Delicate star to officiate his wedding. After joking that she's been married and divorced three times, she tells Appleton she'd be honored to be a part of their nuptials.
