9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘The Voice‘!” The top five artists performed a ballad and an up-tempo song for America’s vote. Tonight, “The Voice” trophy and a $100,000 prize will be handed out. Let’s go!

9:04 p.m. – The night of performances ahead of the results announcement started with the duet between Blake and Bryce on Blake’s own song “Hillbilly Bone.” To emphasize the fun vibe of the song they set the stage with camping chairs and dancers with red Solo cups in their hands.

9:12 p.m. – Next was a crowd-hyping performance of “I Ain’t Worried” by OneRepublic.

9:19 p.m. – John called it “an issue” when he realized he’d be singing “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” alongside Omar, the artist he’s referred to as the voice all season long. Shining across the stage in their suits, John and Omar had a great energy together and you could see how much respect John has for him as a performer.

9:28 p.m. – In memory of those who died in the Colorado Springs mass shooting last week and in support of the LGBTQ community, Adam Lambert sang a hauntingly beautiful rendition of “Ordinary World.”

9:33 p.m. – Poking fun at this season’s worst jokester, Howie Mandel appeared in a segment with Camila to teach her about how to be funny on television. We’ll see him next month when “America’s Got Talent: All-Stars” premieres on January 2!

9:35 p.m. – Once the stage was re-set with the glowing lights of his native country Colombia, Maluma performed a mash-up of his hits “Junio” and “Tukoh Taka,” the latter of which is the fan anthem for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

9:45 p.m. – Returning to the stage after taking last year’s trophy, Girl Named Tom delivered a tranquil version “One More Christmas,” their new holiday song written as a dedication to their father.

9:54 p.m. – The next coach-artist duo was between Brayden and Blake on the honky-tonk jam “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow.” Brayden intimated in the package that Blake treated him like a little brother all season, including teasing him about “heartthrobness.”

10:03 p.m. – Morgan and Camila built a sisterhood over the course of the season, bonding over Camila’s own experience competing on a singing competition show. For that reason, Camila invited Morgan to join her in singing her own hit song “Never Be the Same” for their duet moment.

10:14 p.m. – Singer-songwriter up and coming country artist Breland joined the festivities for his song “For What It’s Worth” from his debut album.

10:17 p.m. – Following the wild claim from Carson that they’re “best friends for life,” John and Blake appeared in a sketch called “The Oddest Couple,” a spoof with a holiday twist.

10:21 p.m. – Blake returned to the stage for the third time in the night to perform the electric song “Different Man” with country superstar Kane Brown.

10:30 p.m. – Convinced that he joined his team in order to appear cooler, Blake clearly has a lot of admiration for bodie. Blake was surprised then when bodie asked that for their duet they perform his song “God’s Country.”

10:40 p.m. – Everyone’s favorite coach (that is returning to the chair next season) Kelly Clarkson closed out the star-studded performances with an epic version of her holiday track “Santa, Can’t You Hear Me.” And following Kelly’s song, we saw the conclusion to “The Oddest Couple.”

10:48 p.m. – Getting down to business, Carson brought the finalists to the stage to announce that the artist placing 5th was Brayden Lape.

10:51 p.m. – The artist placing 4th was Omar Jose Cardona.

10:57 p.m. – For the final announcement, Carson informed us that the winner of “The Voice” was Bryce Leatherwood! There was no declaration of whether Morgan Myles or bodie placed 2nd, so they both earn the runner-up spot.
