Aaron Rodgers will guest host 'Jeopardy!' after playoffs end - New York Post

Answer: The quarterback who will guest-host “Jeopardy!” once he’s done chasing a second Super Bowl ring.

Who is: Aaron Rodgers?

The Packers quarterback broke the news Tuesday that he will be one of the guest hosts on “Jeopardy!” in the wake of Alex Trebek’s death.

“One of my idols growing up was Alex Trebek,” Rodgers said Tuesday on the “Pat McAfee Show.”

“They’re doing some guest hosting spots and it’s going to be released here pretty soon but I have the opportunity to do one of those.”

Rodgers appeared on an episode of “Celebrity Jeopardy!” in 2015 and won, earning a $50,000 donation to the charity of his choice. He poked fun at his wardrobe choice for the game show Tuesday on McAfee’s show, calling it “not the greatest choice.”

Another former “Jeopardy!” winner, Ken Jennings, guest-hosted Monday night on the first show since Trebek’s death in November after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

“I didn’t see Ken [Monday] night, I was watching some film and checked in on the college football championship as well for a little bit,” Rodgers said. “But I’m excited about that opportunity with ‘Jeopardy.'”

The 37-year-old Rodgers led the Packers to the top seed in the NFC this season, earning them a bye. They are set to host the Rams on Saturday.
